津軽の地にもようやく春の足音が聞こえてまいりました。遅くなりましたが、
第34回 日本ナイル・エチオピア学会学術大会のお知らせです。

第34回学術大会は、2025年6月28日（土）・29日（日）に、弘前大学文京キャン
パス（青森県弘前市）にて、対面で開催されます。

発表申込の締め切りは、2025年5月23日（金)、
参加申し込みの締め切りは、2025年6月8日（日)です。

また託児サービスを提供する予定です。
サービスへの申し込み締め切りは、2025年5月23日（金)となります。

第一次サーキュラーと発表要旨の書式を添付いたしますので、詳しくはそちらをご覧ください。

Dear all the members of JANES,

The 34th Annual Conference of the Japan Association for Nilo-Ethiopian
Studies will be held on 28th and 29th June, 2025, at Bunkyo-cho Campus,
Hirosaki University, Hirosaki, Aomori.
The conference will be held face-to-face.

The deadline of the application for presentation is 23rd, May.
The deadline of the application for participation is 8th, June.

We are planning to open a nursery. If you want to use the nursery,
please apply for it by 23rd May.
Attached is the first circular of the Conference and the form of the
abstract of presentation. Please refer to the circular for detailed information.

日本ナイル・エチオピア学会 会員の皆さま

■第34回日本ナイル・エチオピア学会学術大会は、弘前大学文京キャンパスにて開催いたします。

■例年、本学術大会は4月に行われていますが、今年は2025年6月28・29日を予定しています。近年、4月の弘前は、桜まつり観光客があふれ、ホテルを予約しにくい状況が続いています。また、宿泊費も通常の2〜3倍の値段になっています。これらを勘案し、宿泊費が下がる6月下旬にずらすことにしました。

■第１次サーキュラーは、3月下旬を目処にご連絡いたしますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

■スケジュール
【運営幹事会】2025年6月27日（金）16時以降を予定
【評議員会】2025年6月28日（土）11時以降を予定
【総会】2025年6月29日（日）午後を予定

Dear all the members of JANES,

The 34th Annual Conference of the Japan Association for Nilo-Ethiopian Studies will be held on 28th and 29th of June, 2025, at Hirosaki University. The JANES Annual Conference is usually held in April, but due to the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, accommodation fees have risen sharply during April . Thus, we have decided to postpone it to June, when accommodation costs will be lower. We will inform you of the details of the conference in the 1st circular, which will be sent to you around the end of March.
